  | | | | Irene Klar Even the small details of life affect art and no doubt the influence of my travels and experiences of the past year can be seen in my watercolors, acrylics and etchings. Evidence of time spent at the coast and on a sailboat has prompted a number of canoe and kayak works ranging from figurative to quite abstract. Once in awhile, those formal elements of color, line and composition come together in a perfect balance that causes one to pause, look, and inhale deeply. That is my hope with each painting I start.
